Did you get a new Roof?
Several Texans have new roofs because of Hail and/or the age of the roof. They thought everything was wonderful, their house will stay dry and safe.
Better think twice if your Hot Water Tank is in the attic!
This pass year alone two homes with brand new roofs and attic hot water tanks were in grave danger. No one is going in the attic to make sure the exhaust flue for the hot water tank is attached.
This allows dangerous gases into the attic with the potential to enter your home.
How to solve this dilemma is to check the hot water tank right away. If you are not that handy, then have the roofer, plumber, or your best handyman check the exhaust connections.
Better safe than sorry!
